Forgotten Worlds and New Frontiers - Exploring digital archives in a 'on-demand' world.

Roly Keating is Director of Archive Content at the BBC and the man responsible for ensuring that the public can access the BBC's constantly expanding archive, with editorial responsibility for the BBC's archive on television, radio and online.

How can a broadcaster make best use of its past content and what are the implications for other archives, especially the ones in Bristol?

After a keynote address, Roly is joined by Richard Edwards, Director of ARKive and Tom Vincent, Head of Archive at Aardman, for a panel discussion on the value of our media heritage.

This event will take place at the Watershed, Waterside 3, Canon's Road, Bristol BS1 5TX from 1830 on Thursday 25th March 2010

This event is in association with Cineformation and is kindly sponsored by South West Screen.
